In the heart of the Eternal City, in the Regola neighborhood, the restaurant Pierluigi has united tradition and fine dining for generations, offering a menu based on strictly fresh and seasonal seafood, fish, meat, and vegetables. Founded in 1938 by Umberto Pierluigi as a small osteria in Piazza de' Ricci, the establishment has become over the years a landmark of Roman social life and a must-visit stop for the most discerning international travelers. In 1980, management passed to Roberto Lisi, who transformed the establishment into a high-level restaurant, establishing himself in the 1990s as a pioneer of seafood cuisine in Rome thanks to constant attention to the evolving tastes of clientele. Today Pierluigi also offers the possibility of organizing special events and private dinners, with impeccable service curated by experienced waiters and professional sommeliers. Each event can be personalized with dedicated menus for special needs, including vegan or gluten-free options, and with custom decorative setups. Guests can choose between two distinct settings: the interior, intimate and refined, of seventy square meters, designed by the PSLAB studio with an Emperador Dark marble counter and a visible wine cellar, or the exterior, immersed in the quiet of the historic Piazza de' Ricci, surrounded by 15th-century Renaissance frescoes created by Polidoro da Caravaggio and Maturino da Feltre. Just steps away from Campo de' Fiori and Piazza Navona, the restaurant is open every day for lunch and dinner, for an experience that still celebrates today the vibrant tradition of the Roman Dolce Vita.
