About Apuleius
The atmosphere is evocative and distinctive, enriched by the reminiscences of the past that one breathes within its walls. The establishment was born in the early sixties thanks to Spartaco d'Itri, a former boxer and connoisseur of music, whose passion led him to become the greatest winner of the show "Il Musichiere", hosted by Mario Riva. Its story continues over the years: the interiors are enriched with authentic archaeological finds and Alberto Sordi makes it his favorite table. Today, the Apuleius continues to welcome its guests thanks to its new custodian, Sascha, who acquired it in 2005. Its offering is an international cuisine that looks to Italian tradition in its raw materials and recipes, leaving room for some personal ideas, in a balance between taste and enjoyment.
