Da Garibaldi

Da Garibaldi is located on via Tiberina, in the area of Prima Porta, and still today bears the name of Alessandro Micheli, known to everyone as "Garibaldi," whose love for good food and a good glass of red wine was evident to anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. From this passion, in 1970, a small trattoria outside the city gates was born, which in its early years became a favorite meeting spot for truck drivers: arriving at the gates of Roma, they would stop at Garibaldi's for a simple but hearty meal. Over the years, the restaurant has undergone various transformations, in form and service, winning over more and more loyal customers from the city. Despite the inevitable changes, the Micheli family continues, after more than fifty years of activity, to preserve the atmosphere of the past, made of simplicity and tradition. The menu is rooted in Italian cuisine, with a constant connection to the Roman tradition of the territory. Alongside the classic recipes are small experiments, supported by a careful selection of raw ingredients in respect of seasonality.
