In the heart of Pigneto, Osteria degli Ubertini has become over the years a landmark in Rome for those seeking the authentic flavors of true Roman cuisine. Fabiana and Fabio, owners and soul of the establishment, take care every day of the selection of ingredients, offering a warm and relaxing atmosphere of a genuine home-style osteria. Among the first courses, the great classics of tradition stand out: gricia, cacio e pepe, amatriciana and truffle carbonara, alongside homemade soups such as pasta e fagioli, pasta e ceci and pasta e patate, prepared following the family recipe, just as grandma used to make them. For main courses, the menu offers trippa alla romana, straccetti, pollo e spuntature alla cacciatora, polpette al sugo, as well as steaks and cuts cooked on lava stone. The osteria also follows a weekly schedule of specialties: gnocchi on Thursday, fish on Friday and lasagna on Sunday for lunch. The restaurant is open every day, with Sunday and Monday reserved for lunch service only.
