In the heart of San Lorenzo, Pommidoro is a place tied to Roman tradition since 1890, run by the same family for over five generations and, for one hundred and twenty years, a guardian of Roman customs. It is also known for being the place where Pier Paolo Pasolini had his last meal, a detail that intertwines with the restaurant's long history. The kitchen offers the great classics of capital's tradition: carbonara, cacio e pepe, pasta alla gricia and first courses based on ragù or game, such as pasta al cinghiale. There is no shortage of meat main courses and typical dishes of Lazio cuisine, accompanied by carciofi alla giudia and alla romana. To close the meal, the dessert offering includes handmade tiramisù.
