It all began with papà Luigi and mamma Tina, founders of a trattoria that has managed to keep the spirit of Roman tradition intact, passing it down from generation to generation with a management that remains largely family-run to this day. A journey of passion and sacrifice that the Comune di Roma recognized in 1985, awarding the establishment the title of "Bottega Storica." The cuisine of La Caravella speaks the simple, genuine language of tradition, able to satisfy both those looking for a quick, quality meal and those who wish to take their time savoring the local meat and fish specialties. Every dish is made from fresh, carefully selected ingredients, prepared with care and dedication to offer an authentic experience to those who love good food. The restaurant welcomes its guests in two spacious air-conditioned dining rooms, with a total capacity of about 150 seats, as well as a charming outdoor terrace that extends along the entire corner of the premises, ideal for experiencing Roma outdoors as well.
